This Anemone has translucent tentacles that extend outward from the oral disc, while shorter pale or lavender tentacles are grouped in the center.
The Banded Tube-Dwelling Anemone emerges at night, feeding with its tentacles extended into the water column. During the day, it hides in long tubes buried in the sand and retracts quickly when exposed to light.
