Resources consulted for reef species identification
This page lists the principal resources and publications consulted to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the species identification data provided throughout the Bonaire Reef website and Bonaire Fish ID app.
The ability to share the Bonaire reef's amazing biodiversity is only possible because of the dedicated work of marine scientists, field experts, researchers, and the many divers and volunteers who take part in citizen science projects. Thanks go to all the people, organizations, and marine enthusiasts whose work in underwater photography, taxonomy, and ecological studies made this Website and App possible, as well as those who reached out with information and support.
