This Comb Jelly has a transparent body covered with small brown to orange bumps. It has two prominent oral lobes and small tentacles near the mouth.
The Brown-Spotted Comb Jelly is usually seen near the surface in calm water and is extremely fragile. It feeds on tiny plankton by drifting slowly through the water with its two lobes held wide open.
