The Hydroid Zoanthid has a thick, skin-like covering that is pale yellow, brown, or dark green, forming a dense carpet of small polyps. The individual polyps are short and rounded, with a ring of delicate tentacles. The tentacles can be the same color as the body or a slightly different shade.
This Zoanthid forms dense mats that cover the branches of Feather Bush Hydroids. It uses its tentacles to capture small organisms and particles from the surrounding water.
