This Blenny has a body in a range of colors, including green, pink, and red, with scattered white spots and hints of blue. A square-shaped spot with a blue or black ring may be visible on its back, just below the rear of the dorsal fin.
The Imitator Blenny can be found in shallow waters with rubble and rocks.
