This small Lizardfish has a slender, transparent pale body with dark spots on its back and large dark spots with blue markings along its side. Its eyes are big, and its pupils are small and oval.
This Doubtful Lizardfish, also known as the Suspicious Lizardfish, can be seen at night and lies still on sandy bottoms. It often buries its body in the sand, with only its head visible.
