This Coral forms colonies with cylindrical spires that rise from a shared base. Its color ranges from light tan to chocolate brown, and the dense polyps covering the surface give it a fuzzy appearance.
Pillar Coral thrives in flat or gently sloping areas. If its pillars break and fall, the fragments can grow into new colonies.
