Thin Finger Coral creates thin branches shaped like fingers that are spaced apart and often divide near the ends. The surface is smooth with small corallites built into the skeleton. When the polyps open, the branches appear slightly fuzzy. Colors range from tan to beige, brown, yellow-brown, or gray, and they sometimes show light lavender or purple shades.
This Coral grows in smaller colonies in shallow protected rubble zones and seagrass beds.
