This Coral grows in thin, upright blades that resemble lettuce or layered leaves. Small polyps cover both sides of each blade. The blades are usually light to dark brown, often with yellowish hues, and the edges are slightly paler.

Thin Leaf Lettuce Coral grows in large clusters that often merge together. It spreads quickly and can crowd out slower-growing corals. This Coral is critically endangered and highly sensitive to bleaching.
