This Goby has a transparent, pale body with yellow-orange stripes and small spots. A dark band runs from the eye down to the jaw, and there are dark markings on the eyes. There is also a vertical bar at the base of the tail.
The Pallid Goby can be seen in sandy areas near the reef.
