This Goby has a dark upper body and a pale underside. A yellow line extends from the front of each eye to the tail. The snout is pale yellow or light orange, and there are no markings on the snout.
The Yellowline Goby can be found on sponges, particularly inside Tube Sponges. It is shy but may allow a close approach by divers before retreating into the sponge.
