The Red-Banded Lobster has a red body with large gold to orange patches on the sides of its shell, each bordered in red. Its antennae have red and gold bands. Its legs are red with white bands, and its claw arms also have pale bands.
The Red-Banded Lobster is active at night and usually found alone. It stays around deeper ledges and sheltered areas.
