The Antilles Oxynoe is green to yellowish and has white and blue spots. It is covered with small, cone shaped papillae. Its shell is fragile and mostly hidden under body flaps. The rhinophores and the mantle edge are often lined with blue. The tail is long and thin.
This Slug feeds on Caulerpa algae and is well camouflaged among it. When disturbed, it can release white secretions and drop part of its tail to escape. It is usually seen on algae in shallow areas.
