The Germaine's Glass Slug has a long, oval, translucent body covered with flat oval cerata. Its cerata have small bubble-like glands along the edges and green digestive branches inside. Its long rhinophores split into two curled branches. White patches and tiny orange-brown dots cover parts of its body.
The Germaine's Glass Slug hides among green algae and algae-covered rocks. It feeds on Cymopolia barbata and may use chemicals from the algae for defense. When disturbed, it curls into a ball and may shed cerata that release sticky white mucus.
