The Jibacoa Elysia is small and slender, usually pale olive green with reddish spots, white dots, and small white bumps. Its long, rolled rhinophores have white, orange, and black markings. Its side flaps fold over the back in two pairs, creating two openings. The flap edges are slightly scalloped with small bumps and black and orange lines.
The Jibacoa Elysia moves by stretching the front of its foot forward and pulling it back while opening and closing its side flaps. When resting, it opens the flaps, pulls back its rhinophores, and flattens its body.
