This Headshield Slug has a dark reddish or orange body with two tails of equal length. Blue stripes, outlined in black, run along its body, and a white bar crosses the midsection.
Headshield Slugs are typically found on sand, where they can bury themselves if disturbed. They use tiny hair-like bristles to sense their environment. These Slugs have both male and female reproductive organs at the same time.
