The Red-Tipped Sea Goddess has a smooth, ruffled body edge that is clear white to bluish, sometimes with a light orange-red dusting. A yellow band follows the edge with a thinner red band inside it. Its head feelers have pale stalks with bright red ridges, and its feathery gills are bright red on white stalks.
The Red-Tipped Sea Goddess can be found near gorgonians and algae, in rocky areas and on sponge-covered mangrove roots. It feeds on sponges with tiny hard structures.
