The Sargassum Spurilla is light brown and marked with thin, darker lines. The back and the swollen cerata are covered with many small white spots, which may merge into larger pale patches. The sides of the body are mostly solid brown. Its rhinophores are ridged, and the cerata are curved and have white tips.

This Nudibranch lives among Sargassum seaweed and algae, where it stays well hidden. It moves slowly while searching for food and shelter.
