The Glassy Sweeper has a shiny reddish-brown body with a dark stripe at the base of its anal fin. It has large eyes, a rounded belly, and a very thin body.
The Glassy Sweeper is often found in small to large groups, staying in crevices, under piers, and around shipwrecks. It is somewhat cautious but usually allows divers to approach closely.
