This Shark has a brown-gray body and two dorsal fins of similar size positioned toward the back. It has a small, rounded mouth and two whisker-like feelers on its upper lip.
The Nurse Shark is often found resting motionless on sandy bottoms or under ledges during the day, becoming active at night to hunt.
