The Harlequin Miter is an uncommon Sea Snail that is most often found in shallow waters but can also be seen at greater depths. As a member of the Costellariidae family, it is likely to be a carnivorous predator that feeds on small invertebrates. It reproduces by releasing eggs that develop without a free-swimming larval stage, which is unusual for many marine snails.
