This Conch has a thick, pale shell with large, rounded spikes on its surface. The inside of the opening is a soft, milky cream color. At the top, the shell has a short, pointed spire.
The Milk Conch is usually found on sandy bottoms or among seagrass, moving slowly and blending in with its surroundings. It is mostly active at night and feeds by grazing on algae and tiny plants on the seafloor.
