This Anemone has long, translucent tentacles marked with spiral white patterns. Its body is usually hidden beneath rocks or debris.

The Corkscrew Anemone often forms symbiotic relationships with Snapping Shrimps and can provide shelter to small Cardinalfish. When disturbed, it retracts its tentacles and has a mild sting.
