This Anemone has three rows of short, cone-shaped tentacles in shades of red, gold, brown, or olive encircling a reddish oral disc. Its muscular body is covered with beadlike warts arranged in vertical rows.
The Red Warty Anemone retracts its tentacles when disturbed.
