This Anemone has three rows of short, cone-shaped tentacles in shades of red, gold, brown, or olive encircling a reddish oral disc. Its muscular body is covered with beadlike warts arranged in vertical rows.
The Red Warty Anemone can retract its tentacles when disturbed. This Anemone can be found in tidal pools, where it occurs in different colors and sizes.
