This small Blenny has a slender body with dark blotches forming a stripe along the middle and bands across its back. Its body is covered in bluish-white or pearly spots. The upper lip is large and rounded, often with thin vertical lines. The head can sometimes have a dark color.

The Pearl Blenny can be found in shallow waters, tide pools, or sheltering in Barnacle Shells on pier pillars.
