The Ridgeclaw Hermit has a bright orange body, legs, and claws. One claw, the right one, is much larger than the other. Thin white bands run along the legs and claw arms, and the tips of the claws are white.
This Hermit Crab lives in empty shells and moves slowly. It is usually seen alone and quickly pulls back into its shell when disturbed.
