The Spoteye Hermit Crab has cream-colored eyes with red spots, translucent legs with white spots and faint blue stripes, and bristles. Its claw arms are tan with white spots and denser bristles.
The Ringeye Hermit from the Reef Creatures Book by Paul Humann, Ned Deloach, and Les Wilk (3rd Edition, page 153) is probably the same species as the Spoteye Hermit (Iridopagurus caribbensis).
