This Goby has a pale green, translucent body with about eight dark bars and small dark spots. Its head is red or orange with intricate white streaks, and a dark band running through the eye.
The Semiscaled Goby is also called Wall Goby. It lives in shallow areas with rocks that have algae. It usually hides in cracks or small spaces but sometimes sits out in the open. It is shy and retreats when approached but may sit still if approached carefully.
