The Sponge Peppermint Shrimp has a clear body with dark red stripes. Two white lines run through its eyes and meet at its mouth to form a V-shape.
This shrimp is also called Pedersen's Peppermint Shrimp and is often found in pairs inside Vase Sponges. There are a few species of Peppermint Shrimp, and each has a unique pattern of red stripes and bars.
