The Music Volute Bonay lives in shallow water and is found on sand, coral rubble, and turtle grass beds.
Voluta Bonay is a newly described sea snail species found only around Bonaire. It belongs to the Voluta musica complex and is distinguished by its shell shape, pattern, and yellow to gold shell tip.
