This Snail has a tall, cone-shaped shell with 7 or 8 spirals and rough ridges that create tiny bumps. The shell is often covered in pink or red algae. Inside, the snail’s body is white or gray with small speckles.
The West Indian Starsnail usually hides beneath rocks, and its rough shell provides excellent camouflage.
